I grew up in Edgeley, and the Willowbank Hutterite colony was within our city limits. Although they only lived a few miles away, I never really gave the Hutterites much

thought. We rarely saw them in town, and I can count on one hand the number of times I spoke to one. I’m sorry to say that I probably knew more about the people of Peru or Japan than I did about the Hutterites.
